We use cookies on our website. These are small text files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device when you visit our website.

The cookie stores information that arises in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we have direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies initially serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you: For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual subpages of our website. For example, if you have registered, your password will be stored for the duration of your visit to our website and when you change subpages, so that you do not have to re-enter it each time, or goods placed by you in the shopping cart will be stored until you „proceed to checkout“. These session cookies are automatically deleted when you leave our website. In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize the user-friendliness, which are stored on your device for a certain specified period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically recognize that you have already been with us and what entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website and to optimize our offer for you. These cookies allow us to automatically recognise that you have already been with us when you visit our website again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the purposes mentioned in order to safeguard our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Most browsers automatically accept cookies. If you do not want us to recognize information about your computer, please set your Internet browser to delete cookies from your computer’s hard drive, block all cookies, or warn you before a cookie is stored. You can find out how to delete or block cookies in the help and support section of your internet browser. There you will find instructions on how to find the file or directory where cookies are stored.

In any case, please note that completely disabling cookies may mean that you will not be able to use all the functions of our website.

If you leave our website via a link or click on any banner advertising and thus reach third-party sites, it is possible that cookies are also set by the addressee of the clicked target page. We are not legally responsible for these cookies. For information on the use of such cookies and the information stored on them by our advertising partners, please refer to their privacy policies.

Java applets and Java scripts are used in the provision of our website. If, for security reasons, you do not want to use these utilities or active content, you should deactivate the corresponding setting of your browser.

Clear gifs: We or certain third parties may use software technology called clear gifs (also known as web beacons/web bugs) to help us improve our services by measuring their efficiency and performance. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier and have a similar function to cookies. Unlike cookies, which are stored on the hard drive of the user’s computer, clear gifs are invisibly embedded in our services.

Flash and HTML5: We and certain third parties may also use certain tracking technologies known as „Flash cookies“ and „HTML5“ primarily for advertising purposes. Some browsers may use their own management tools to remove or block such technologies. 6. Online marketing/analysis measures

We use online marketing measures and tracking tools on our website to analyse the behaviour of users on our website. With this statistical collection, we want to design our website in line with your needs and continuously adapt it for you, as our user, and optimize the use. The online marketing and tracking measures we use are used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, § 15 para. 3 TMG. Our stated interests are legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

  1. a) Einbindung des Trusted Shops Trustbadge

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated into this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any ratings collected, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after placing an order. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests, in an optimal marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are offered by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.

When the Trustbadge is called, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which e.g. contains your IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access. These access data will not be evaluated and will be automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your site visit. Further personal data will only be transmitted to Trusted Shops if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or have already registered for their use. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.

  1. b) Google Analytics

For the purpose of the needs-based design and continuous optimisation of our websites, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc.       (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as „Google“). In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see above) are set.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address) and the time of the server request, is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and needs-based design of these websites. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is § 15 (3) TMG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on their behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with any other data held by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (so-called IP masking).

The data we send and link to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs will be automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data that has reached its retention period takes place automatically once a month.

For more information on the terms of use and privacy of Google Analytics, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or under http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

You can prevent the installation and storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is placed on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will need to set the opt-out cookie again.

  1. c) Google Adwords / Conversion Tracking

We also use the online advertising program „Google AdWords“ as part of Google AdWords conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is placed on your device. These cookies expire after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. As a result, there is no way that cookies can be tracked across AdWords customers‘ websites.

The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. This tells customers the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Adwords/Conversion Tracking is § 15 (3) TMG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies from the domain „googleadservices.com“ by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software (deactivation option). They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ , http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

  1. d) Google Adsense

This website uses Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Inc. („Google“) for the integration of advertisements. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on these pages.

The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information may be shared by Google with Google’s contractors. However, Google will not merge your IP address with any other data stored by you.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.

This data can be used to create and evaluate pseudonymised user profiles for the same purpose. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the website visitor’s internet browser. Among other things, cookies enable the recognition of an Internet browser. The data collected with Matomo technology (including your pseudonymised IP address) is processed on our servers. .

The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to personally identify the visitor to our website and is not combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you do not agree to the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, you can object to the storage and use of this data at any time with a click of the mouse. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that Matomo does not collect any session data. Please note that the complete deletion of your cookies means that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may have to be reactivated by you.

  1. g) Mouseflow

Our website uses Mouseflow, a web analytics tool provided by Mouseflow ApS, Flaesketorvet 68, 1711 Copenhagen, Denmark, to record randomly selected individual visits (only with anonymized IP address). Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. For more information about Google Tag Manager, see: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
